Professor Dr. Ahmad Kamruzzaman Majumder is, currently, the Dean, Faculty of Science, and he also heads the Department of Environmental Science at Stamford University Bangladesh.He is the Founder and Chairman of the Center for Atmospheric Pollution Studies (CAPS), an Environmental Policy research organization located in Dhaka and registered with the Government of Bangladesh.

He is one of the prominent resource scholars in the field of Atmospheric Pollution Studies in Bangladesh. Now he acts as a Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA). He also attend COP26 at Glasgow and COP27 at Sharm Al Sheikh.

He start his journalism career since 2011. Regularly he write articles on contemporary environment issue in various print and online newspaper. Presently he is the Editor (Environment and Climate Change) of OceanTimes.
